What makes Lucky Garden unique from other Chinese restaurants?
It is a family-run business started by three siblings - Chef Kam Tung (Tony), Chef Kam Chai and Hostess Sherri - with recipes shared and swapped in the heated kitchens of a few of China's 5-stars hotels. |
|
What can you expect to see?
The dining area is often occupied by both American and Asian families dining family-style, sharing the delicacies off the Chinatown style menu. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, you'll see waitresses bringing out trays full of steaming dim sum (Chinese brunch) made-to-order. |

Who is behind the wok?
Chef Kam Tung (Tony) and Chef Kam Chai are the hands behind the tasty cuisine at Lucky Garden. Both Chef Tony and Chef Kam Chai have over 30 years experience in the kitchen. Both have received honorable awards and recognition from their respective hotels in China prior to Lucky Garden. |
| Joining us is the eldest brother, Chef Kam Kui (Ricky) with equally and more impressive cuisine experience. Chef Kam Kui was the Asian Chief Chef at Foxwoods Casino, working with Martin Yan ("Yan Can Cook") in 1998 and 1999, and cooked for a 5-stars hotel in Guangzhou, China. Chef Kam Kui was also the master chef behind the delicious dishes at Eastern Pearl. |
